Picasa - offers to store photos for the world to see. There are several free photo storage sites online, this one is highly rated alongside Flickr
Skype - Communications tool (video, audio and chat)
Slide Rocket - Online presentation software
YouTube - allows for you to upload videos, such as lectures and experiments. This can be instrumental in describing something that would not be completely understood from printed material or photos alone.

Urbana Adult Education -
Offers several introductory computer classes (creating web pages, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) as part of their community education classes. Most of the classes are offered for a fee.
